ABOUT SARAH LOUX | THERAPY FOR WOMEN
Painful experiences shape how we learn about safety, closeness, and our needs.
You may have had early experiences that were confusing, overwhelming, or experienced inconsistent reactions from others, which affect how you show up in relationships, and how you see yourself today.
If this resonates, you are in the right place.
Meet Sarah Loux
Explore what shaped you. Heal what hurts. Deepen connection.
I provide teletherapy for women in Washington and Montana, offering a thoughtful, compassionate space to explore what has shaped you and how it’s showing up in your life now.
I support adult women seeking to heal from childhood and relational trauma, helping them strengthen their self-esteem, personal agency, emotional security, and their capacity for meaningful connection.
My work is grounded in attachment theory, psychodynamic therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy and parts work, including Internal Family Systems and Inner Child work. These approaches allow us to explore how early experiences shape emotional patterns, relationships, and your sense of self - not only intellectually, but in a way that supports meaningful and lasting change.

HOW I WORK.
I specialize in exploring the deeper why behind patterns and behaviors, with a focus on early relationships, attachment dynamics, and the internalized messages we carry about ourselves and others. Our early experiences often create a kind of map for connection, shaping how we expect to be treated, how we manage closeness, and how we respond to emotional needs.
In therapy, we work together to understand how these early patterns continue to influence your relationships, emotional world, and sense of self today, and how to gently shift them. When the origins of our reactions and coping strategies remain unclear, it’s easy to feel stuck in cycles that no longer serve us.
